Gareth Thomas, Staffordshire FA Commercial & Partnerships Lead: “We are delighted to partner with two local businesses in Sempar Accountancy & Tax and Win Financial, whose support will enable us to further invest in improving local grassroots football. In addition to running successful businesses, Steve and David are both keen supporters of grassroots sport too and can see the positive impact Staffordshire FA are looking to achieve via our commercial investment strategy. With a network of thousands of people across Staffordshire involved in local grassroots football, if any of our members are looking to access advice via the services that Sempar and Win Financial respectively provide, we’d certainly encourage them to do so.”
Steve Timmis, Sempar Accountancy & Tax Co-founder: “Partnering with Gareth and the Staffordshire FA was an easy decision, as a business we fully believe in giving back to our community and creating opportunity for others. As an ex-rugby player and Sunday league footballer I spent many happy days on pitches at weekends never considering who mowed them, who provided the referee and so on. Now we have the opportunity to make a difference to grassroots sport. I look forward to a long and impactful partnership.”
David Winchurch, Win Financial Director: “I am really proud to be a Staffordshire FA partner. Having played football throughout the age ranges as a child, I know how important grassroots football is to all involved and how it helps to build key skills for life and improves health. When I think back to some of the facilities and pitches that I used over the years, I am glad I can make a difference now and give something back to our community.”
